i can cross the hump!!

sunny: blading day~

yeah today go blading blading~~ finally my pair of blades can see the sun!! initially we agreed to meet up for lunch at komala's... end up only me n ah ber.... chey... the other 2 da xiao jie pang seh us for lunch.... then i had plain dosai meal... it doesn't taste very good.... and the sauce tastes abit sour.... a few hours after the meal, my tummy start to growl.... think i m getting phobia for indian food liao... after the horrible meals from the NZ airline that serves me asian indian vegetarian meal... i shall just stick to prata only...

at ard 1:30pm: those 2 lovely ladies finally arrived and we started our blading !! fel is our nanny... she is in charge of transporting the freshies to the main road... hahaha.... but ber n jie learn veri fast wor.... esp ah ber... one lesson and now she can cross the hump too!! steady sia!! and i m also not bad... i manage to cross the hump too!! yeah yeah....

then hor.... i met hq!! hahaha.... saw his back view blading side by side with a girl lor.... then blade pass me..... anyway after that i saw him at the beginner's corner!! hahahaa... and the girl is no longer there.... maybe he is just trying to hit on the girl but failed unfortunately... hahahha..... *BB> must rem to go n suan him*

today also saw my hall 1 hallmate.... hahaha... such a small world.... seems like my frens are all rather sporty! kekeke....

it is so fun to spend my sat exercising rather than shopping in the malls..... though now my legs are abit aching liao... hahaha... it is still worthwhile... ehehhehe....

yeah!! i conquered the hump!! *kallang wave*

p/s: i did fall on the hump in the end! hahaha... OUCH

friday friday~~

yeah friday liao lor... today got 2 japanese come to look for my mentor... haha... then i go n listen to them talking english... so funny!! both of them english not very power lor... but i think the japanese are better... oops~~ hehehe... it is quite fun talking to them.... coz they got more facial expressions.... haha... think i enjoy looking at facial expressions~ especially when i m learning sign language! soo fun!!!

anyway besides that, it will be work lor... today i played POOL again ! still i m as lousy as ever... but getting addicted though.... hehehe.... luckily the pool game is freee.... yippee.... my company shld haf a sleeping lounge lor.... filled with beds n mattresses... coz they like to take nap after lunch.... chi1 bao3 shui4..... really like a pig... oops~ i will turn into a pig soon too

after work i went to collect my new passport!! yeah mei mei!! hahaha.... but all my visas are gone... haf to collect again... this time passport expires in 5 yrs... so sianzz.... last time 10 yrs lor...

then i went to shop shop in PS.... and i met yuko with her miffy..... hahaha so qiao!! aiyo really miss having a gathering with them leh.... talk all the nonsense with all the stupid funny voice... hahahaha... guess her miffy abit bua tahan.... hur hur hur

i bought a pinky pants at LMG.... got 30% discount!! hahaha.... yeah yeah.... i nv fail to shop every week.... oops~

kiwi-land day 5

Day 5: finishing my trip in NZ liao... since this is the last day, it is time to go and see our endangered KIWIs.... the main character of NZ.... and also the traditional locals - the MAORI....
today is more of a travelling time.... from the westcoast back to Christchurch.... along the way, our NZ guide did a very notti thing.... as there are alot of cyclists on the road..... he wants us to wave frantically as we saw a cyclist passed by, so that the cyclist will do a big wave back to us and could not balance properly on his bike..... luckily none of the cyclists really fall off the bike lar... kekeke that night, we had a buffet dinner... and beside our restaurant, got this little balcony where we can feed the deers!! yeah yeah!! so fun to see the deers eating those pellets off ur hand.... hehehe...

finally, there is the Maori performance.... it is actually a trail kinda walk.... first, they chose a chief for our "tribe".... and during the trail, the Maori pple will pop out of nowhere to come and attack us.... then the above photo is about a Maori confronting our chief.... hahaha.... if the chief did not make peace with them by picking up their offering, then we die.... hahaha....very interesting lor....

oh yar.... one more joke during the trip.... it is about a sign board along the road that says "!" "CATTLE STOP"

so our guide was telling us that NZ got one group of very smart cattle that can READ..... so that sign board is to tell the cattle to stop and not cross to the road because there are cars..... so after putting the sign board there, the cattle will not cross over n get hit by the cars.... hahahaha....

kiwi-land day 4

Day 4: today we r going to the Fox Glacier... this glacier is special because the ice is not high up at the mountain top... but it actually come as low as ground level.... it is the blue blue white white thing on the rocks behind me in the picture....cool rite? below is Lake Wanaka.... me n my cousin are very smart to find natural light to shine on our face...so that our photo looks good... hahahahaha......


and finally for my jet-boating adventure!! yeah yeah.... guess where am i? I got VIP seats lor.... sit in front with the guide.... and i shield my cousin from the water lor... all filter off by me liao.... ahahah.. so i m the wettest apparantly...

Kiwi-land day 3

Day 3: today is the free day where we joined the tour to Milford Sound - where NZ-er claims to be the 8th wonder of the world! it is a really beautiful place ... with huge mountains and even saw seals resting on the rocks.... then we went to see the Mirror Lake.... the water is so calm that it totally reflects the scenary onto the water...just like a MIRROR.... it is soo amazing....
and we went to the Monkey Creek where we get to drink Spring water flowing down from the glacier..... the water is really sweet n refreshing!!

and we visited Lake Te Anau... and also went thru the Homer Tunnel, which is a long long tunnel that is dug thru the mountain for pple to get to Milford Sound.... that person who propose to create this tunnel is a genius....

okie den back to hotel to rest and see my beautiful stars~~

Kiwi-land day 2

day 2: we are heading down to Queenstown.. along the way, we pass by an ancient town called Arrowtown... there, is where LOTR took one of their scenes from.... the Arrow River below....
after which, we went to the Canterbury Plains. And also visited the church of the Good Shepherd.... also visited the Lake Tekapo....

then we visited the Farmer's corner.... there are some cute donkeys there which will come over when we feed them grasss.... somemore they are very picky... will choose those leafy ones then they will come.... they must haf super good eyesight man!! coz the grass is so small lor....hahahha

and we passed by Mount Cook.... by right, the itinerery says that we will visit national park Mount Cook... but we are sooo damn far away from it lor..... only can see a tiny little bit of the peak of the mountain..... take photo oso duno which one is the mountain ah.....

finally we arrive at queenstown.... it was a mini town made up with 4 streets of shops only.... and we get to stay in a 4* hotel.... the hotel is very nice lor... still got fire log stove to keep us warm one.....

and queenstown is the place i saw a whole galaxy of stars!! all big and bright and starry!! it's a starry starry night i will never forget... so shiok....

kiwi-land day 1

touching down to Christchurch - New Zealand... our NZ guide is Peter. He is a really funny guy.. makes the whole trip very entertaining... we stopped by a shopping mall for lunch.... it reminded me of those shopping mall in germany... hahaha...coz only single storey and super huge.... with lotsa boutiques and big big supermarket call K-mart ( i seems to see that name before in TW though) that is where i bought some chocolates to bring home *kiasu hor* then we proceeded on to the Cashmere hills.... as shown in the above pic... hehehe....
after that, we went to a museum and art gallery place.... see i m riding on the olden days bicycle!! haha... i rem i had a photo of that when i travel to sydney with my choir friends in sec sch...
here is the cathedral square.... hahaha i only put the pic of the cathedral..... but there are other stuff just like any other town in those ang mo country... hehehe....

oh yeah... and not forgetting the big big tree!! found this big *duno wat* tree near the museum.... it belongs to a botanical garden!! but this botanical garden is really small though.... only got trees and benches.... *spore would call it a PARK*

treat from my boss

wah today our department big boss came from taiwan.... today is the first time, my mentor arrive earlier than me wor!! then during lunch, the whole department go makan lunch together wor!! always only 4 of us go for lunch together only... but today got the whole department....(together with our da lao ban) *stress*

well... da lao ban is quite friendly and is a humble pie as well... my section manager treat us to dinner today too!! well.. he mention that is a "welcome party" for newcomers... but seems like we get the treat bcoz of da lao ban... hahaha....

anyway, the best part is... guess how we go to the restaurant? we took a BUS together with da lao ban lor!!! first time i see pple treat da lao ban like that one leh.... i tot normally the sup will take cab with da lao ban den the rest take public transport.... this is a weird company.... ahhahaa

initially my sup wants to go to a seafood place at Elias Mall and guess wat?!? the place is closed on monday!! ahhahaa..... then we haf to walk to the other bus stop to take a bus to downtown east to eat at the restaurant - Sakura... the food over there is quite jialat lor.... *ooops i shld not complain when someone treat me* but the food there is not fresh one.... den is international buffet style and they dun bother to heat up the food with water bath..... i cook maggi mee still tastes better lor... haiz....

hmm.... i plan to write a blog on my NZ trip one... but must add photo den nice nice.... so next time ba....

first day of work

woo hoo... today is my first day of work reporting to UMCsg. hee hee... i left my house at 7.45am.... and guess wat?!?! i reached at 8am!!!! gosh.... gotta go out later liao... it is too early to report to work... hahaha....today got one big bunch of china n msians reporting to work... den i feel so alien going for the orientation with them..

the orientation lasts one whole day ah!!! my goodnesss..... den whole day just stay in the training room for lecture n lecture on welfare and safety precautions... we even haf a try on the fire extinguisher!! can call me the firewoman!!hahaha

luckily there are 2 other sporeans girls reporting for customer service position... else i will be all ALONE for the orientation!! *cry*

the toilet is super clean for my company!! even had the toilet bowl seat paper.... goodness!! then got gym room, games room with pool table, aerobics room, 7-eleven, auditorium for movie screening.... wah wah wah...

then the canteen very funny one... u just scan ur card at the place i section u wana eat... den u just go n take the food... got fruits and soup and drinks also... den after we finish makaning, we had to sort the plates n trays n return to the cleaners place... abit like army ah!!

then i went to report to my department at ard 5 plus pm.... den go there n get to know pple... but now i forgot all their names liao... hahaha... super short term memory... jialats... tmr go n try again.... hehehe..... cheers
